THE JOURNEY
of how far we came, in words of mine.

It was all in His plans for me to study in Sydney. Now that I'm here, it's up to me to shine His light.

FLY AWAY TO SYD
on the journey to Sydney.

4 years in Sydney is an awefully long time.
Catch me before I fly away, cause I'm having the time of my life.
Friends come and go, but the close ones never part irregardless of the distance.

I announced my return to Singapore with a new hair colour and a new hair style. This cost me 3 hours of my time and another 200 bucks. :/

Everyone says I look fatter.

I do not know why I am so tired. I wake up at 12pm everyday.

I feel a little foreign at home.

I just want to hide in my own little world.

I need to lose weight.

-

Not in a mood to update. I might post about my feelings on the plane ride home another day.

Another sleepless night. Just when I thought I've gotten rid of the Insomnia. The clock reads 3.46am. I'm supposed to be up by 7am. :(

I'm going to sprout vulgarities on my blog.

FUCK. FUCK. FUCK.

I sprained my ankle 4 days before my competition. It's been 4 years since I last sprained my ankle. It took me one whole year to strengthen my ankle, and one slip has spoiled my efforts.

I'm depressed. I want to play in the competition. I was excited about it, about my opponents.

It's not a good omen. Sarah hurt her back on sunday, and now, I sprained my ankle. I feel so apologetic to Ken.

I'm going to try and see if I'm fit enough to play on Saturday. I'll just tape up my ankle.

This means no wearing of heels, no shopping on thursday and no alcohol on thursday. I've abstained from alcohol for almost a month, I'm sure one more week is nothing.

:(
depressing.

Probabilities

This post isn't about QMA. It's about the probability that has been happening in my life.

The most recent being a Blackout in Mulwarree, or rather, a section of Cowper Street.
P(blackout) = 1 in a thousand

The 2nd most recent has got to be the closure of my school.
P(closure) = 1 in a million

The 3rd being the compensation by the school.
P(compensation) = 2 in a million

Lucky or Unlucky?
Take your pick.

When was the last time I got a headache from excessive studying?

By thursday 4pm, I'll have a mini celebration!!

it's easy to pass, easy to get a credit. but the jump from credit to distinction is what destroys you.

I can't wait for everything to be over.

I ripped this off the NSW Badminton group on Facebook:

"Badminton is the world's fastest racquet sport - speeds of over 200 km/h have been clocked at shuttle impact. Any player of similar level, playing tennis or squash will realise they have to move faster and much more in badminton. Yet it can be played by people of all ages. In many countries children start playing badminton from as young as 5 years old. Such development from grass-roots levels also result in those juniors proceeding to Under 17s and Under 19s national tournaments. On the other hand, there are hundreds of veterans even over the age of 60 still playing to maintain their fitness and keep in touch with friends. In the Veterans Teams tournaments around 500 players over the age of 40 meet to play competitively over different weekends at places like Albury and Ballarat every year.

When it is played at a reasonable level, a badminton match requires highly concentrated actions, which include quick movements, twisting, jumping, stretching and striking at the shuttle. In a typical game, though the court is smaller, a badminton player covers at least twice the distance of a tennis player."

-

I like the way they make Badminton sound so much better than Tennis. haha.

Who can provide a better entertainment than Sagar?

He is the only one that can get stopped by the police to have an ID check because he resembles someone who stabbed another policeman a few days ago. Seriously.

You would think that Australia is suffering from a drought. Apparently not!

Why doesn't it stop raining?

Cont..
I think I incurred the wrath of the heavens. Straight after publishing my post, the rain just got heavier. :(

15:00

my empty lecture notes is not helping my cause.

01:08

I tried to sleep, but my mind won't stop twirling. Tht's why I'm here. :(

One of the reasons why I hate exams is because it overworks your mind. On one hand, you have to memorise all sorts of formulas and information. On the other, you have to keep up with your study plan. When you try to sleep, your mind wonders about the 'study itinerary' for tmrr. Things cannot get any worse when I have a disordered body clock. Tried to sleep at midnight, and 1 hour later, I decided to get up and blog. :(

How many more days do I have left?

-

Got a new housemate today. Truth be told, he seems pretty dodgy. And he has truckloads of stuffs. I reckon I was too anti-social today. I didn't introduce myself to him. HAHA. All I did was hold the door for him. Oh wells, there's always another day.

I'll just tell myself that I won't be here for long.

"By studying, you are being filial to your parents"

I can't believe these words came out from my mouth.

YES! I have an extra pillow tonight, and for the next few weeks!

All thanks to my dear Joy. :D

I'm currently taking a break from studying, and I was looking at my room. It has turned into a war zone. There is literally no space to walk near the cupboards, the table has no empty area to dump extra things, and my bed is filled with clothes and books. Not to mention my box of clothes which I have yet to iron and my laundry calling out to me to wash them. To make things worse, my housemate has moved out. He has taken with him his rice cooker and the iron. Which means to say, I cannot cook rice for the remaining of the month, and I can't iron my clothes. I have to borrow from Joy. How pathetic can that get?

Enough of rumblings. I'm off to do QMA again. And, I'm not going to show anyone the disgusting state of my room.

It's Beef!

Damn, it's really beef. I'm really allergic to BEEF. So devastated. If it's not beef, it's the preservatives in beef, which is highly unlikely. F**k. I love eating beef, especially steaks. What now? Every time I eat beef, I get a swollen face and a swollen mouth. I have to choose between my love for food and my face! Which do I choose?

This is a season of breakups.
